UAF Summer Leadership Institute 2010
The UAF Summer Leadership course is a one-week summer experience designed to develop leadership skills for students finishing grades 9-12. The curriculum focuses on leadership roles and accountability, team building, leadership styles and situations, motivating others, civic responsibility, integrity, public speaking, changing behaviors, and goal setting. Students live on campus, enjoy the academic and social atmosphere and get a taste of college life.

U.S Senate Youth Scholarship Program 2009-2010
We are pleased to announce the opening of the application period for the 2009-2010 United States Senate Youth Scholarship Program. Please find a complete application package (including an announcement memo, application form and instructions) here: SYP 2009-2010 Application. The program is open to qualified high school juniors and seniors now serving as elected officers in student government, in a student council or as a class officer. The application deadline is November 2, 2009.

Janice M. Scott Memorial Scholarship
The Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Janice M. Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund has again made available six $2,500 scholarships for high school seniors who will graduate in 2010. They will be issued on a onetime basis.

2009 Leon Bradley Scholarship Opportunity
The Leon Bradley Scholarship Program is established to encourage more minorities or persons of color to enter the teaching profession. AASPA believes that it is of benefit for all students to experience diversity among the teachers who serve as role models for our students. Thus, the American Association of School Personnel Administrators (AASPA) will annually award two scholarships to assist a minority college student seeking their initial teaching certification and/or endorsement.
