Dear Parents,
March is here at last! There are several events planned this month. Please take a look at the events and dates below:
March 4-6 1A Basketball Regional Tournament at Pt. Lay (GO EAGLES!)
March 15 Tax People in ATQ for one night
March 15-17 1A State Basketball Tournament (Our fingers are crossed that one or both teams will be going.)
March 23 6:30 PM Math Night with Dan Barnett – Tips on Tutoring for Parents
March 25 Parent Teacher Conferences (Ethel will contact parents of elementary students for appointments)
March 26-27 Middle School Basketball [if any schools are able to attend]
Adopt-a-Teacher: If your family would like to adopt a teacher on Saturday afternoon, March 13, from 1-3 PM and show them Inupiat ways of life such as food preparation, cooking, sewing, hunting, story-telling, or any other cultural activities, please call the school. Daisy Tazruk and Ethel Burke are in charge of this project.
SES: We continue to offer Supplemental Education Services with Alaska Learning Lab after school with Janey Hales. There are a few openings. If you want your child to attend this program, please call the school and leave a message for Ms. Hales.
