Welcome to Eben Hopson Middle School

Greetings! I am happy to be the new principal at Hopson Middle School. Although I am new to Barrow, I am not new to the North Slope or the field of education. For the past two years I have been the principal in Wainwright. Previous to that I spent 34 years as a teacher and administrator in Kansas, Nebraska, and Colorado. I feel very fortunate to be working with the students and staff at HMS. We have many positive and exciting activities taking place in our classrooms and in extra curricular activities as well. Hopson Middle School is a great place to be!
