The public health nurse will be working in the school this week to complete the TB testing and ensure all our children are caught up on their immunizations. TB is becoming more and more common in our rural communities and this screening is very important for all students and staff.

The Rams travel on Thursday, December 1st to Point Hope to participate in the Arctic Regional Volleyball Tournament. Three teams from the Northwest Arctic School District and three teams from the North Slope Borough School District will battle to the two spots to represent our region at the state tournament.

On Friday, December 9th we will be holding the Kaveolook School Christmas Program at 7:00 PM in the gymnasium. Students have been practicing their songs and skits in anticipation of the program. Santa will be arriving at the end of the Christmas Program to give away gifts and take pictures with the community.

David Cousineau, our school counselor, will be returning from Nunamiut School on Sunday, December4th. He will be at Kaveolook School for the final two weeks of December and most of January. Welcome back Mr. Cousineau!

Respectfully,
