Reimaging a Client using PXE boot services
First make sure all your Documents, Images, and other Files are Moved or Copied from your local C:\ drive and My Documents folder to your H:\ Drive. (All files on your local computer will be lost in the reimaging process)
When this is done you can start the reimaging process.
- Turn off your computer and turn it back on and when the Blue Dell screen appears on your screen press the "F12" button on your keyboard.
*On some computers you will be prompted to select the boot Device. Select "Integrated NIC" - Your computer will now boot up into the Ghost image menu.
- Select the correct image for your computer.
Computer Type Menu Option GN, GX1, G1 GX1 Image All Other Desktops Desktop Image Laptop Laptop Image PolyCom PolyCom Image - Your computer will now boot into the Ghost Console, After 5 minutes the imaging process will start automatically.
- After the image is loaded on your computer the computer will restart and load into windows the first time.

- Ask your Site Tech to log you on for this first time.
- After logging on Windows might prompt you to restart the computer, Select "No"
- The FirstCfg Window will open.

- In the "Site Name" Column select your Site.
- Check the "Configure Machine and Domain name"

- In the "Machine Name" Box enter your room number (3-digits) a dash and then the number of your computer.
If your computer is the only one in the room it is 01 if there are multiple computers in your room number them consecutively (e.g. 01, 02, 03 ... etc) - Select "Finish", FirstCfg will now set your settings and join your computer to the domain.
- The computer will automatically restart.
- After the restart change the bottom field from "BHS-000-01 (this computer)" to "NSBSD" and log in with your normal User name and password.

- Your computer is now all ready to be used.
