Alaska Certification
If you do not have an Alaska Administrative and/or Teaching Certificate, please apply for one as soon as possible. Due to the time required for certification, please contact the Department of Education and Early Development (EED) as soon as you determine your interest in teaching in Alaska.  EED will send you an application packet and can also answer any questions regarding certification.  Requests for certificate application or questions regarding State certification requirements or procedures should be directed to:
