  • District Inservice August 2018

    New/Returning Principal District Inservice: July 31 - August 9, 2018

    New SPED and New Counselor Department Inservice: August 1-3, 2018

    All New Teachers [SPED & Regular Ed.] & New Counselors, District Inservice: August 6-9, 2018

    District in-services are provided prior to the beginning of the start of school and continue throughout the school year.  New teachers are assisted through a four-day orientation by educational leaders and trainers with emphasis on practical and research-based instruction, interventions, strategies, teaching units and the Iñupiaq Learning Framework based on the District’s five year strategic plan.

  • Request for Proposal for FY2018 Employee Housing

    The North Slope Borough School District is seeking to lease employee housing. If you own property that you would be interested in leasing to the NSBSD, you may pick up an FY18 Request for Proposal Packet (RFP) at the Maintenance and Operations Office located at 1693 Okpik Street in Barrow, Alaska.
