Ms. Mary Anderson

I am Mary Anderson and I am the new Special Education teacher for grades 9-12 at Barrow High School.

Originally from the State of Hockey, also known as Minnesota, I have seen much of our great nation and have lived in Minnesota, Tennessee, California, Hawaii, and most recently, Oregon.

I am a huge Minnesota Twins and Wild fan but I'm not much of a Vikings fan. I have found golf and bowling are interesting to watch on TV because they make it look so easy...or maybe it could be because I am NOT proficient in either of those sports! I also love to read, watch movies (isn't theater popcorn just the best?), and play video games!

I am also a cancer survivor. After my "cancer adventure", I feel as though I truly know how special life is and I have a new appreciation for all that I have.

I moved to the Slope with my son, Ian Anderson, who will be a senior here at BHS. We are both eager to learn more about your culture and traditions and to experience all that this community and district has to share with us.

Please do feel free to call upon me should you have questions or concerns for me. My classroom is 124A, so stop on by!
