Mr. Haimes is in the process of constructing an NSBSD technology system that may very well be the cure for lack of Internet access by students throughout the district.  Before the COVID 19 pandemic, Internet access was a challenge for students and for their families, and during the pandemic, with some students relying completely on the Internet for lesson delivery and/or hardcopy paper packets, and with some other students relying on the web for part of their lessons, the Internet access problem needed to be addressed, quickly.    Although Mr. Haimes had been working on this initiative for a while, he has fast tracked the project because of the current circumstances.  Now, that the final critical components have arrived, Mr. Haimes and his InfoTech team will be working hard to allow educators and students to connect on a whole new level.  The Arctic Sounder news people got word of Mr. Haimes’ efforts to stomp this NSBSD Internet problem out for good, and they thought the word is worth spreading.  At NSBSD, we are all working hard to untangle the web of inequity, but let’s give a big shout-out to Mr. Everett Haimes because he is, literally, untangling “the web” of inequity!  If everything goes as planned and with making allowances for flight delivery issues, "it's all systems go" within next month.
