Feeling Better and want to come back to school?
Not so fast...a student and/or staff member can return to school if the following criteria is met:
A negative COVID19 test result and no fever or other symptoms for 24 hours without fever reducing medication.
With a POSITIVE COVID19 test, the person must stay home for 10 days. After 10 days, person can return to school if the person has not had a fever for 24 hours or other symptoms-without the use of fever reducing medications.
Those who do not wish to be tested, must stay home for 10 days. They can return to school once they have not had a fever and other symptoms for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medications.
If a health provider determines that a person's symptoms are not related to COVID19, the individual can return to school BEFORE 10 days without a NEGATIVE test, IF:
He/she has not had a fever for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medication and other symptoms are not present AND the person has a note from a health care provider stating it is safe for the person to return to school.
