Hello!

March 16, 2020

Hello to All,

Due to the COVID-19 virus, the students are out of school this week and the next week, and longer as necessary.  The school district will keep families posted regarding any updates.

The Center for Disease Control shares facts about COVID-19:

*      Know the signs and symptoms:  FEVER / COUGH / SHORTNESS OF BREATH.  Symptoms are likely to appear 2-14 days after exposure.  Seek medical help if you or your child has these symptoms.

STAY HOME IF:     You or your child are sick or another family member is sick with this virus.

*     PRACTICE VERY CAREFUL HYGIENE:  WASH HANDS FOR 20 SEC.  Do this:  WET YOUR HANDS/ GET SOAP/ SCRUB / RINSE / DRY   ****  Have your child count to 20 slowly or sing the birthday song twice.

*     ENCOURAGE your children to cover their mouth and nose with a tissue when they cough or sneeze.  THROW the soiled tissue in the trash can.

*     It is very important  to remind the children to AVOID TOUCHING their eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

*     DO NOT share dishes, silverware, drinking glasses, cups with each other.

*     DO NOT handle pets or others animals while there is this sickness in the home.

*     CLEAN AND DISINFECT frequently touched objects and surfaces.

*****It is encouraged that you when you make a medical appointment that you inform them that you have or may have COVID-19.

******When the weather is warm and clear outside, and the children are well, ENCOURAGE them to play outside.

Thank you again,

Esther Jeffery Signature
