Tracy Mulvenon
Assistant Superintendent Tracy Mulvenon

Ms. Mulvenon has been an educator since 1987. She began her career as a third-grade teacher and has taught every age from 2-year-olds to college students. Ms. Mulvenon moved into leadership positions in 1998. She served as an Assistant Director of Special Education, the Assistant Director of Teachers-to-Teachers Initiative at the US Department of Education, an Elementary Principal for 20 years, and Assistant Principal at Eben Hopson Middle School for 5 years.

In her career, Ms. Mulvenon worked with many teams of educators and received several accolades and accomplishments including to name a few:

1.     Alaska’s Assistant Principal Region 1 for 2020 and 2023.

2.     Lighthouse School Status with Leader in Me, 2017

3.     Publishing of a book about Holcomb Elementary, 2015

4.     NWEA MAP’s Growth Award at a school in the State of Arkansas, 2012

5.     Appearing on Pat Summerall’s “Captains of Industry” show for creating one to one computing using Compass Odyssey for her school in 2004. 

6.     Implementing the first Literacy Coaching model in a school district in Arkansas, 2002

At the end of the day, Ms. Mulvenon’s says that, “Every day is a new day to learn,” and, “All students can experience growth when we all work together to create some better.”
